That’s how BAE2BAE describes their DJ-duo, containing Charlotte and Oona. Their musical selections are their own therapy, with vibrant, colorful heavy beats and energetic, contagious floor fillers that are easy to sing along to.
Charlotte’s love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a producer, singer, and promoter, she has found plenty of ways to express herself musically. Getting her first "Ultimate Trance" compilation CD at 6 years old, she fell in love with hard, happy, electronic music at an early age. Meanwhile, Oona listened to Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls, singing and dancing like Nick Carter and Sporty Spice in front of the mirror. Oona is always sprinkling her glitter over the roller derby society while playing with gender norms and being a role model for other gender fluid people. They started BAE2BAE together early 2016 after realizing they had crazy chemistry and a shared love for similar music with that 90’s feel.

Very active members of the LGBT+ community, BAE2BAE are no strangers to the ups-and-downs of being a minority on a patriarchal music scene. While they started to DJ together not too long ago, live music, singing and playing instruments has always been a big part of their lives. Before starting BAE2BAE, Charlotte and Oona also travelled around Europe to DJ professionally with other projects since 2014. Some of their music career highlights before BAE2BAE are; getting to the final auditions on ”The X-Factor”, ”Sweden's Got Talent” and swedish ”Idol”. Together they got to the final auditions on ”London Pride’s Got Talent”. They have played multiple times as visual dj’s at Debaser Medis in Stockholm and were main party dj's at the scandinavian capital’s pride parties in 2016. For bigger shows, they come with original rainbow party visuals.
